Whether you are an art collector or just looking for a great getaway weekend, the Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival promises a great time.

Carefree is nestled in the High Sonoran Desert, just minutes from the Scottsdale border. The landscape in itself is an experience. Large granite boulders and sharp mountains set the backdrop to this Arizona Art Show spectacular.

Many nationally acclaimed artists from all over the U.S. come together to share their art.. During the art festival the streets of downtown Carefree are closed. The Carefree Art Show hosts over 160 artists where over 5,000 pieces of fine art can be seen.

Small, medium and life-sized bronze sculptures, metal, clay, wood, stone and glass sculptures are to be found everywhere. Additionally at Carefee are paintings (using all kinds of mediums), pottery, photography, hand crafted jewelry and more.

No matter what kind of art you may like the Carefree Art Show has something for everyone all the way from southwest and traditional to contemporary and abstract pieces. The festival is not only a celebration of fine art but wine tasting, gourmet food and music are provided as well. In fact the Carefree festival holds the title of Arizona’s largest wine tasting event.
